David Cunningham is committed to Pennsylvania House District 13.
David Wesley Cunningham, our Democratic Candidate for Representative to Pennsylvania’s House District 13, has had a lifelong career caring for and empowering people and providing leadership that makes a difference in people’s lives and in society.
David graduated from Southern Connecticut University with a Master of Science in Education.
David was born in Pennsylvania and loves this state—particularly Highland Township, where he lives with his husband Bill and multiple dogs and horses. David is an active member of Friendship Methodist Church in Gum Tree, Pa. His son David Jr. and family live in Connecticut.
David will fight tirelessly in Harrisburg and be the voice for the people of House District 13.

1980 — David was a delegate to the White House Conference on Families, sponsored by then-president Jimmy Carter
1976 — David gave his first “Gay Rights” speech on the steps of the Old State House in Hartford Connecticut

- Executive Director of the Connecticut Justice for Children Collaboration
- Fostered establishment of non-profit organizations in every state, dedicated to the prevention of child abuse
